Teaching

A graduate of Venezuela's National System of Orchestras, Hernández understands music as an integral part of a social process, capable of offering learning opportunities to young people and adults. Specializing in composition, arrangement, improvisation, and the theories surrounding Latin American music, she places musical creation and gender issues among her primary concerns. For this reason, she is dedicated to offering classes and workshops for women composers.
